In celebration of the religious men and women who are serving the parishioners of the Diocese of Beaumont, Bishop Curtis Guillory, SVD, invited all priests, religious, deacons and the entire diocese, to an evening of prayer Sept. 13 at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, Beaumont.
“We are very blessed to have so many religious men and women in our diocese,” Bishop Guillory said. “For without you we would not be able to staff our parishes.”
The evening was held in celebration of the Year of Consecrated Life declared by Pope Francis that began on Nov. 30, 2014, and ends on the World Day of Consecrated Life on Feb. 2, 2016.
