Annual Health Fair provides free medical screenings to The Avenues neighborhood in Beaumont

The 14^th annual St. Katharine Drexel Health Fair drew in hundreds of families from “The Avenues” neighborhood in Beaumont to King Middle School. Free health screenings were given and booths were set up from various outreach programs for information. A children’s station, called the St. Katharine’s Kiddieland, was set up with arts and crafts, and face-painting was to entertain all of the kids. A free lunch was provided to all attendees and each family was able to walk away with a bag of groceries.
