Four Days in Houston encountering Christ

The 52nd Annual Diocese of Beaumont Youth Convention was home to more than 960 youth and young adults who spent four days in Houston encountering Christ through worship, workshops, service projects and other activities. This year’s theme was “Anchored in Christ.”

Among the youth ministry awards that were presented were:
-Padre of Youth: Father Tarsisius Puling, SVD, of St. Joseph, Livingston.
-Deacon of Youth: Deacon Clint Elkins of St. Anne, Beaumont.
-St. Timothy Outstanding Girl: Lilly Grace Sachitano of St. Mary/St Martin, Fannett.
-St. Timothy Outstanding Boy: Michael Trevino of The Little Flower of Jesus, Port Arthur.
