The second and final of week of the Diocese of Beaumont’s Summer Camp has come to a close sending campers back to their parishes and communities enriched from their encounters with their faith.
“We had many opportunities to talk about the importance of understanding our Catholic faith and how it is incorporated into every part of our daily lives,” said Melanie Ehrlich, director of the Office of Youth Ministry.
During the first week, students entering grades four through six participated in camp activities. Students entering grades seven through nine took part during the second week of camp.
“Camp is always such a beautiful experience, and we hate for it to end,” Ehrlich said. “However, we are so excited to begin the next chapter, which is Local World Youth Day.”
Local World Youth Day takes place Aug. 4 at the Diocese of Beaumont. For more information, go to https://www.dioceseofbmt.org/local-world-youth-day/.
