“It is the donor’s hope that those who make use of this building will be instilled with a sense of hard work, discover their creative skills and develop more-fully their potential now and for their future,” Bishop Curtis Guillory, SVD, said as he dedicated the new Creative Works Building Sept. 18 at Msgr. Kelly Catholic High School.
The building was dedicated in honor of Linda and John Duplissey.
The 4,800-square-foot building will host Art I, II, III, IV, V and AP Art. Art teacher Roy Bares, will also introduce woodshop, welding, mix media and new art techniques to his curriculum.
