Kelly names top students

Colin Gentry and Nicole Fierce are this year’s valedictorian and salutatorian respectively, at Msgr. Kelly Catholic High School.

Both Gentry and Fierce were active in student council during their time at Kelly. Fierce was also a member of student recruiters and the retreat team. Gentry split his time between Students Against Destructive Decisions, Key Club and the tennis team.

Both students enjoyed being a part of all the different clubs and organizations that Kelly has to offer.

“Sometimes during this year it was difficult when everything would pile up or a bunch of activities were going on at once but for the most part we were able to balance everything out,” Gentry said.

“Most of the time everything would flow together. I had a lot of fun participating in the different organizations,” Fierce said.

After graduation Gentry will be attending the University of Texas, Austin, and major in chemical engineering and hopefully go on to medical school after he finishes.

Fierce will also be attending the University of Texas and majoring in business.
