Msgr. Kelly Catholic High School, Beaumont, senior Christina Bornefeld signed a letter of intent to participate on the nationally ranked rifle team for Jasonville State University, Alabama.
Bornefield has been shooting a rifle since she was a child. At the age of 12 she killed her first deer.
The rifle team at Jacksonville State University is the 3rd highest ranked rifle team in the country. The team competes in various shooting competitions with universities throughout the country.
