With hurricane season beginning many in Southeast Texas are preparing in different ways. A group in Winnie will be gathering to prepare for the season in their own way.

St. Louis, Winnie, will be holding a prayer service tonight, June 1, at 6 p.m. in the church. The service is being organized by the Sacred Heart prayer group at St. Louis. A rosary will be prayed along with specific prayers for weather and safety during hurricanes.
