Honoring Teachers and Stewards

The Diocese of Beaumont honored teachers and stewards of the Catholic school community May 14 at the annual Teacher Appreciation Dinner held at the St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica Center, Beaumont.

The yearly event recognizes outstanding teachers at all of the schools in the diocese and also has a special award known as the St. Thomas Aquinas Award which is given to those who volunteer their time in their local school communities. This year four retirees were also honored.
